German Umlauts and ISQL

Hi there. Under Windows (using SETNET) its easy to mandage German Umlauts using Client_Locale. Recently a came to know that someone here wants to input them using ISQL (SCO, Informix 7). Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks Dirk
