Raid 10

Does anyone have any stories to tell on setting up Raid 10 with informix? We have MTI 9300 raid and are running infx7.23... we tried setting up informix on raid 5 at one time and it ran like a dog. I spoke with the MTI rep and he was saying to perhaps use Raid 10 for the write intensive tables and logs and raid 5 for the other stuff. Any comments from anyone currently using raid on hpux 10.20? We are going to be testing out a gladiator array shortly on an HSC bus...should be interesting. Tks in advance Ed
