The stacktrace is shown below: #0 0xdbbac in CheckGlobInit () #1 0xc2200 in sqli_stmt () #2 0xc8764830 in st_dirty_read () at cm022.ec:134 #3 0xc88b33d0 in sl_crd_location () at cm039.ec:228 #4 0xc88b5010 in gt_local_time1 () at cm039.ec:983 #5 0xc8730b70 in build_checkpoint_header () at cm014.ec:2882 #6 0xc8740f08 in create_af_sis_checkpoint () at cm014.ec:11018 #7 0x33a44 in gn_create_af () at af1999.ec:15090 #8 0x36c08 in gn_valid_ckpt () at af1999.ec:16553 #9 0x3ad30 in get_all_shipments () at af1999.ec:18318 #10 0x372d4 in sl_query_hu () at af1999.ec:17095 #11 0x17c40 in ct_proc_scan_hu () at af1101.ec:3385 #12 0x14b3c in ip_scan_hu_hawb () at af1101.ec:1933 #13 0x13908 in ct_af1101 () at af1101.ec:546 #14 0x12e88 in ct_af1100 () at af1100.ec:578 #15 0x11a20 in main () at af1000.ec:656 Is there any way I can write a 4gl or esql-c program & call the funcstion sqli_stmt & CheckGlobInit directly.??? Or do we any flag which can trace what function & the corresponding parameters is passed to a function & log it to a file. Please let me know for the above two queries. Thanks in advance... You can't really call CheckGlobInit() directly. You can indirectly call sqli_stmt() by writing pretty much any regular SQL statement other than a SELECT... EXEC SQL SET ISOLATION TO DIRTY READ; > Or do we any flag which can trace what function & the corresponding > parameters is passed to a function & log it to a file. Please let me > know for the above two queries. Thanks in advance... No, there's no easy way to log that sort of information. In this case, I'd look hard at what's in the file cm022.ec at around line 134. Given the function name, I suspect that it is similar to the EXEC SQL statement I used as an example. CheckGlobInit() is a function that checks that the library is properly initialized - so a failure here is puzzling. One possibility is that you have a symbol clash with the Informix symbols - which the compiler/linker is not warning you about - and this is leading to disaster. I don't rate that as very likely, but it is a possibility. I wish there was an easy way to document the namespace the Informix uses, but there isn't. -- Jonathan Leffler #include <disclaimer.h> Email: jleffler@earthlink.net, jleffler@us.ibm.com Guardian of DBD::Informix v2003.04 -- http://dbi.perl.org/
