informix problem

currently upgraded from sunos BSD to solaris2.5.1(sunos 5.5.1) and upgraded informix4.15 to informix4.17(tools). Having a problem with a run command. Usage:run run_command without waiting. this run command kicks off a mail daemon with values passed to it. The daemon in turn runs another function to mail to user. when run command is used without waiting I get an error "stty: no such device or address". When I remove the the without waiting the error is gone, but one of the foreach statements with in the daemon is not getting hit. So, I got rid of the foreach and changed it to a sigleton select statement... Well the select statement does not return shit. I have checked the statement many times its fine...Also, when the daemon is ran through the debugger the program is fine the select statement returns the proper value....DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE OR IDEA...would greatly appreciate it.... fubobbi -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet
