Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
We are currently running our c programs through esqlc and also shell scripts. They attach to the database SERVER that is associated with shared memory.
In the near future we are going to separate the database server from the application server, which means that all the talking back and forth and passing of data back and forth between the app and the database will be going across a lan.
We're trying to get a handle on how much traffic that would be. Is there a way to gather those type of statistics from the database ? I'm thinking one of the onstat -g ntd or nsd or something.
Thanks !
