Do I need to change offset in chunk?
Posted in 1997
Help..... it's me again!!!!! I think that I've done something silly! (but am not too sure!!!!) I created new spaces for my physical and logical logs and removed from rootdbs. Being very new to the DBA thing I created logical_space_1 and logical_space_2 and placed my logical logs in these spaces. log_space contains my physical log. The number of pages in test is 100000. The number of pages in logical_space_1 is 1500, and in logical_space_2 the number of pages is 750. Can I increase the number of pages in a chunk? What I would like to know is do I need to change the offset, and if so how do I do so? If this is not the problem then what do I check next Thank You in Advance David M MacAllister Securicor Omega International Ayr Scotland
