informix onbar onconfig parameters

I have informix 7.23 installed on an HP-T600 10cpu server with 2gig of memory. I am using onbar to backup a 90gig informix instance to a 2 drive storagetek DLT box. I have 298 dbspaces. What should I set the BAR_MAX_BACKUP onconfig parameter to, to get the best performance? When I had it set to zero, the backup failed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
