Urgent: Assert Failures in message log

Hi All,
We recently upgraded to IDS7.31UD6 verion from
7.31UD2R1 on HP-UX 11.0 box.
While taking the archive of the database using ontape
we are noticing these error messages in the log file
Assert Failed: Archive detects that page 0x24b8391 is
corrupt.
So does anyone know of any known issues with 7.31UD6.
Also how to interpret which chunks/dbspace it is
showing error.
We are using blobspaces also in the database
Thanks,
Vineet

Hi bro,
have you ever tryed running "oncheck" ?
how about export + import (to another box) ?
Hope it helps.
For some
reason, I never got your message via the mailing list. I also don't see the
post I made today which coincidentally had to do with these assert failures as
well.
They do have a patch, but they didn't overwhelm me with confidence in it,
using such phrases as "limited quality assurance", "not intended for long-term
use", and "Its use presents inherent risks".
With one exception, the Assert Failures have not brought the engine down.
Informix Support claims the one that did was the same issue, although I wonder.
Here's our typical assert failure - does it match what you see?
05:17:35 Level 0 Archive started on rootdbs, phylog, logfiles, db0, db1, db2,
db3, db4
