We've been using Fourgen for several years. As others say here, it IS easy to crank out complicated screens. The problem we have had is when you want to modify something later, particularly in the way of adding tables or changing relationships, things get sticky. Many crashes etc. On the bright side, their triggers work pretty much as advertised, and permit you to keep your own code separate from theirs. There is a VERY steep learning curve, so a lot depends on whether your people are willing to change the way they do things. Good luck! (And now, what about going to New Era?)
