11.70 - Recreating index

What's force the instance (11.70 FC1 , Linux ) to recreate a index ??? Some messages like this: Recreating index: 'dbsname:"owner".tabname-idxname'. Appear on online.log after start the instance... Cesar
When an index is created, it is not recoverable until a checkpoint is issued. If the checkpoint is not issued and the server is bounced, then the index will be rebuilt. This will not occur if you set index page logging. If you create an index, but before the next checkpoint the engine is
abnormally shutdown. Instead of adding each index item row
by row in a serial fashion through logical recovery, the informix
server waits to the end of logical recovery and builds the index
utilizing the parallel index build.
In addition there is optimization for create, drop, scenario, see
below:
An example:
checkpoint
create index ix1
create index ix2
drop index ix1
logical recovery ends
create required indexes (only ix2)
