El Reg posted something about this noise a couple of weeks ago. (Or was it last week?) The shareholders in the suit believe that Oracle's price is too low, that's why they want to stop the deal. These types of suits happen frequently. It will have no effect on the sale. The sale will still happen unless there was some issues raised by the EU. The deal is really a game changer in the industry, and not a good one for IBM, but that's a different story.... With respect to Art's post... Art, don't you think they would if they had bought Informix instead of IBM? IMHO that would have been a better deal, except at the time, Sun was/(is still) a 'hardware' company. ;-) -G _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail® has a new way to see what's up with your friends. http://windowslive.com/Tutorial/Hotmail/WhatsNew?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_HM_Tutorial_WhatsNew1_052009
