nsrmm: Invalid pool name
First time i am trying to configure ISM in IDS 11.50.FC5
To configure ISm i've done below activity:
----as root user----------
# cd $INFORMIXDIR/bin
# ism_startup init
# ism_startup
# ism_add -admin informix@<servername>
-----as informix user--------
$ ism_add -device /infmxtmp/infcert/logfiles -type file
$ ism_add -device /infmxtmp/infcert/dbspaces -type file
$ ism_op -label /infmxtmp/infcert/dbspaces -pool ISMData -volume ISMDatnsrmm: Invalid pool name `ISMData'.
Above (last) command is giving error as "nsrmm: Invalid pool name `ISMData'"

By Luck i could solve this prob myself.. I did change in ONCONFIG to ISM_DATA_POOL ISMDiskData ISM_LOG_POOL ISMDiskLogs Bounced the engine and ran ism_startup -init once again. Then i tried to add ism_op -label /infmxtmp/infcert/dbspaces -pool ISMDiskData -volume ISMData ism_op -label /infmxtmp/infcert/logfiles -pool ISMDiskLogs -volume ISMLog It was successful. DJ...
