index creation time?

hello, Is there any method which is used to find index creation time and progress of index. Thanks in advance.

Index create's are logged, at least the event is. If you also have LOG_INDEX_BUILDS set in your ONCONFIG file, then the entire process is also logged from the point at which index pages begin to be written (so once data collection and sorting are finished). If you have a rough idea of the ultimate size of the index in pages, you can follow along with onlog (warning: using onlog on the 'current' logical log file can block transactions from writing to the log).
