Well I feel a bit ashamed right now because about one hour after I sent
out the request for help I found it. It was the configuration of the
scheduler service in NT that can be set up to log on as a named user.
It is done by clicking on the "Scheduler" line in the services box and
then filling in name and password for the user to be "Log on as...".
For those of you (Jon) who have spent time thinking about this I express
my gratitude and hope I will be able to assist you in the future
(preferably with sys.mgm. on DEC UNIX) and also that you can help me
some other time when needed.
