BUG IN v5

I've heard reports that a statement like UPDATE cust SET balance = (balance * 0.23) can produce (rather profound) errors if balance is type float. I've also heard that this problem is limited to a few ports. The point is I don't seem to be able to find out which ports. Does anyone know what the affected ports are?
