I-net and the Internet
Posted in 1995
I have a question and before everybody gets hyper, I know this is not a real good idea... Someone in the company plans on running a client-server application (NewEra) over the Internet. Does anybody have any experience doing this and have they had any unusual problems. I know it would be advisable to limit traffic as much as possible and all that other good stuff, but when the Internet is the only connection, poor performance is better than no performance... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Informix Premier Var -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Miguel A.
