Step 0 : Backup your current db (just in case). Step 1 : Restore your database on tape to a directory DIFFERENT from your current db. Step 2 : Change DBPATH to point to the restored db. Step 3 : Retrieve information (data, schema, etc) Step 4 : Change DBPATH to point to the current db. Step 5 : Create table, load information, etc. Step 6 : Take a hard look at your application, users (examine your log, possibly) HTH.
