We use MS Visual Basic and plan on using MS Excel for this kind of work. You'l obviously need an ODBC driver also. (See earlier discussions on that.) Here is one reason why we need VBX/OCX support in New Era. You can buy this kind of graphics support at a low price with *no* runtime fees from several companies in the form of a VBX/OCX for MS VB. Read Visual Basic Programmer's Journal or any of several other Windows programmers magazines and you'l see what a fantastic world is out there with very RAD tools.
