Hi..Users.... I have a doubt. I am using oracle 7.23. I have procedure which does some transactions. This procedure in turn call another function. The function returns a unique number from a table. I have used commit stmt in the function. Now.. the question is will that commit , effect the calling procedure? If so, how to avoid it?.
