Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Did an OnLine DSA 6.00 installation yesterday which worked fine with the
server defined as onipcshm in sqlhosts, fine as onsoctcp and the server
defined as localhost (the cop-out local loop-back connection!), but barfs
on -956 (client is not trusted or some such) when you try to set up
sqlhosts with the real hostname.
Customer has apparently set Unix up for C2 security.
finderr suggests adding entries to /etc/hosts.equiv. Tried setting that
to 'hostname username' to no avail.
/etc/hosts and /etc/services all check out OK.
Any clues?
