How to delete logic log backuped before 30 days
Hello every:
I backup my informix use TSM server. my policy is backup all data (0
level) every day , and opration by handwork. online logic log backup TSM use
this same policyset.
Becase of Informix online logic log named by id, and backup use tsm_API
backup data automatic, so TSM don't know how many version has been backup,
that is to say, tsm backup a logic log every 30 min(may be), and create a
new stream to TSM server named by id.
I want reservations complete backup (0 level, use onbar -b -L 0) 2 years.
I only want reservations logic log 1 month.
so how to delete those logic log with in 23 months? does IDS has a command
to delete backuped logic log before user specified date.

No you can look at the ixbar file ($INFORMIXDIR/etc/ixbar.<SERVERNUM
from onconfig> or
for version 11.50 BAR_IXBAR_PATH in onconfig file.
You can use that to get the ids and then TSM to delete them.
The run the Informix command
onsmsync
onsmsync -b
to tell Informix when has been expired in TSM.and then resync the
ixbar file (bootfile) with TSM.
