What does it need special that I am missing? To dynamically resize itself, fgldb needs to be able to respond to the SIGWINCH signal, that's what vi does. An xterm will send SIGWINCH to the process group when you resize the window. I'm not at all sure that fgldb can handle this. I'll experiment when I get a chance. Are you running Informix with termcap or terminfo? I think termcap would require you to create a new entry for non-standard window sizes, adjusting the li# capability to whatever is appropriate. Terminfo takes the window sizes from the stty parameters when possible. My memory tells me that Informix doesn't support terminfo on HP, but the memory plays cruel tricks sometimes ... : -- : Donald E.
