I think you'll find that there's a CLI HOWTO for Informix being released very soon -- I just saw the approval and 'please get it distributed to the normal channels' notice. So, in a day or two, the information should be out there. I'll blind copy the people who've been handling it; they may decide to post it to c.d.i for you.
