I'm in Orlando. The closest Informix training center for IBM is Atlanta. So I guess you're telling me Informix training from the IBM guys is pretty good. <John_Thomas@ao.uscourts.gov> wrote in message news:bhinsg$d8o$1@terabinaries.xmission.com... > > Hi Jack, > > Informix does provide training in a number of cities in the USA and also > in Europe, I think. > You didn't say where you're located, but there should be a city not too > far from your home-town. > > I'd seriously urge you to lobby your company to spring a few $$ for travel > (there are many budget > hotels and advance-reservation discount deals available from airlines > these days). Hi Jack, Informix does provide training in a number of cities in the USA and also in Europe, I think. You didn't say where you're located, but there should be a city not too far from your home-town. I'd seriously urge you to lobby your company to spring a few $$ for travel (there are many budget hotels and advance-reservation discount deals available from airlines these days). If you can't do that, you could tell your company you're going to eat the travel expense yourself--your expenses are almost always tax-deductible. Your company must surely know that if you did that, you'd make yourself more marketable, and they might not want to be seen as the bad guys. :)
