VB4 + ODBC questions please help

I'm using VB4 with the informix(intersolv 2.5) ODBC driver and have the following problems. 1. After a lot of inserts and updates I get the error message 'No more cursors available' and i have to restart the application to get rid of this ??? 2. In VB4 i use the remote data objects, I can not access LONG TEXT fields, Oracle and MS SQL server can use the getchunk option. Informix does not seem to accept that. Anyone had simular prolems????
