We are currently using HP-UX 10.10 on HP9000 equipment (k220 server for production & h40 for development). We have ODS version 7.13.UC1 and 4gl version 6.01.UD2. We have been using the FourGen Case tools for about 16-18 months now, always on ODS 7.x. We are also running the 5.x version of the FourGen Enterprise Software. >4) i also have in mind that if we think of loading online 5.x on hp-ux 10.x >we require some additional port. any thoughts about this. > >any suggestions would be highly appreciated > >thanks in advance!! >Moses Lawrence My suggestion to you would be to seriously consider purchasing ODS 7.x up front, instead of going through the heartache of conversions, unless there is a very, very compelling reason you need the 5.x version. Also, consider HP-UX 10.20 as your inital OS ver. Upgrading HP-UX is not always a painless operation and HP-UX ver 10.01 & 10.10 have problems dealing with multiple (>2) shared memory segments. Our upcoming upgrades are moving from HP-UX ver 10.10 to ver 10.20, then upgrading ODS to 7.22.UC4, which is the highest version that FourGen will certify at this time.
