Hello, did anybody install 11.70 with ldap authentication and connect client with drda? I installed 11.70, ldap and users can connect with "normal" sqli (with PAM), but I can't configure drda access. Does anybody have cookbook or something similar? Regards, Hrvoje

Fernando, thank you for information. I can't find information about drda NOT working with PAM in manuals (also, there's no information that drda IS working with PAM, so you can understand it is NOT working). What client are you using? JCC does not support PAM. I've found nothing stating that other interfaces supporting DRDA do not support PAM. For JCC: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/idshelp/v117/topic/com.ibm.jccids.doc/c om.ibm.db2.luw.apdv.java.doc/doc/r0052865.htm#r0052865__jccdiff05 If problem persists (and you're not using JCC) you should open a PMR to get a clarification. IBM Data Server .NET Provider, It is Windows .NET application. Is PAM connected to JCC or to server side? I mean you can connect with any client (java or .net) with drda protocol and server side is responsible for authentication (including PAM). I got this answer from support: "I'm xxxx xxxxx checked this issue as IBM Informix support representative. I'm sorry but PAM AUTHENTICATION doesn't SUPPORT TO DRDA CLIENTS There is feature request about it. Probably this feature will include in 11.70xC2" So it seems it is not supported :o) Thank you Hrvoje On 21.12.2010. 01:08, Fernando Nunes wrote: > What client are you using? > JCC does not support PAM.
