Unexpected pagesize in syschunks

Hi All I have created a 10 MB BLOBSPACE as given below onspaces -c -b blob_space1 -g 5 -p /mount/fs1/informix_fs/blob_space1 -o 200 -s 10240 I have executed the below query for getting the total and free pages of BLOBSPACE blob_space1 "select c.pagesize pagesize,d.name dbspace, c.chksize totalpages,c.nfree freepages, c.fname filename from syschunks c, sysdbspaces d where d.dbsnum = c.dbsnum and d.is_blobspace = 1;" The query returned 10240(10K) for c.pagesize. As per SMI table documentation, syschunks.pagesize will be in units of system default page size This I observed only for BLOBSPACE. For DBSPACE and BLOBSPACE, the value of syschunks.pagesize was 2048. This issue I am facing only for IDS 11.5 on Solaris. IDS 11.1 on solaris returned 2048 for syschunks.pagesize even though I added 10 KB blobpage. As per documentation, syschunks.chksize and syschunks.nfree are in units of system default page size I wanted to calculate total page size and free page size in MB. In this scenario, how can I calculate Total and free in MB? Any help to solve/understand this issue would be highy appreciated Thanks Pratheep
