Informix instrumenting / performance analysis?

Hi, I'm wondering if there's a way to turn on some sort of "instrumentational logging" for the online informix 7.1 engine. With the older version, multiple daemons would handle requests for different databases, so using unix performance tools (sar, vmstat, et al) would tell you about CPU use for each individual daemon. However, since V7.1 uses a single daemon, it's harder to get such information. Also, I'm interested in pretty fine-grained detail. Logs of database deadlock (error -143 I believe), who caused it, and with what query, etc. The system I'm dealing with is written in ESQL/C, so it would probably be possible to instrument some of this stuff, but I have to believe that Informix would have it built in. Answers and / or pointers to relevant manual pages, etc. would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks for your time, Scott Miller Siemens Rolm Communications
