You need to either set the /etc/hosts.equiv file or $HOME/.rhosts file.
Either of these files allow user from a remote host to login/execute
commands on the server without prompting for password.
Thus if myserver is remote host, create either /etc/hosts.equiv with
an entry of your hostname or create $HOME/.rhosts in informix user dir.
with an entry for your hostname.
If you are logged on to mydomain, then the /etc/hosts.equiv or
$HOME/.rhosts of mydomain should contain an entry for mydomain.
Strange but true.
However, there is a note of caution to all this. and it is a big note of
caution.
/etc/hosts.equiv & $HOME/.rhosts are potential security risks.

If Network is computer, how come Sun makes servers, not routers ;-)
