New Era on Windows for Workgroups (Unsupported?)

Is anyone working with New Era on Windows for Workgroups? I had trouble installing New Era Development System and running View Point. Once installed I can not compile. All seems to compile ok, but it never builds a .dll. Tech support at Informix is telling me that the do not support New Era under WFW. (Although they knew this before sending me a replacement CD, and setting up a WFW system to test the install.) Any help would be appreciated.
