If you have ksh you can try using <(command) and >(command)
notation. I'm not sure it will work in your case but you could
try something like (very schematic):
onunload -t >(rsh remotehost onload -t <(cat) -b 1024 -s 4000000 mydb)-b 1024 -s 4000000 mydb
Of course you'll have to check the env variables on rsh execution.
The most simple mode is writing a script that sets the environment and
runs onload.
