Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

We are trying to call 4GL-RDS functions from within a C program.
This C program needs to be linked into another database
(UniData as it turns out--not wholly unlike the Pick database
if you know that). We modified our make file to include the
4GL definitions, libraries and object code (from cfglgo) along
with the same stuff for UniData plus our C routines.
Ultimately the UniData runner when it calls the C program cannot
locate the 4GL function call. The error I get back is
FORMS statement error number -1338
Our fgl_start does refer correctly to the right module containing
the function. In fact from a standalone C program it works like a
champ but when we try to add UniData, it cannot find the function.
