String handling in SPL

Can anyone tell me whether 7.10 addresses some of the awful string manipulation limitations found in 5.0x of SPL?My particular niggle at the moment is the inability to do variable subscripting, ie LET x = y[i,j]; (Sorry if this is a re-post, by the way.) akent@cix.compulink.co.uk (Andy Kent) ------------------------------------------------ Freelance Informix Database Specialist, Redland, Bristol, England
