While performing level 0 archive, the following error occurs.

I would run onchecks first to see some obvious errors. some of the onchecks
could be:
oncheck -cDIq <db>, oncheck -ccq, oncheck -crq, oncheck -ceq etc. Appendonchecks output to a file, may be required by tech support.

there should be some information in the file
/log/informix/ASSERT/af.a24e58ec
as noted in the log file.
Probably you should open a call (PMR) with IBM Informix
Tech Support and give them all this info. They will use it
to check if this is a known or a new problem ...
Also I'm not sure whether you are using ontape or
ON-Bar for the backup.
In case of ON-Bar there may be additional
interesting info in the ON-Bar activity
log file (check BAR_ACT_LOG parameter in the
onconfig file). You can then go a step further and set
the onconfig parameter BAR_DEBUG to a value
greater than 0 (e.g. 5 or 6). Make sure you also
have the onconfig parameter BAR_DEBUG_LOG
set properly. The results of next backup attempt
should then be in this debug log file and are probably
of interest to Tech Support as well.
In case of ontape there is no log file
for ontape - only the info appearing on the
terminal/prompt where the ontape command is
executed.
