Informix and Delphi

I asked this question about a month ago and then lost access to the newsgroup. Please forgive my asking again. I need to be able to execute the following in a Delphi application against my Informix database on a Unix box. I'm using WFW 3.11, Delphi 1.02, Intersolv ODBC drivers, INET version 5 and Informix Standard Engine 5. update table set column = column + 1 where some conditionif no rows updated, then insert new row with specified values. I could a select count first with the desired where clause but this is inefficient. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Jay
