Four FAQ's About comp.databases.informix and informix-list@iiug.org =================================================================== FAQ 1 - What is the informix-list@iiug.org mailing list? -------------------------------------------------------- You can read the comp.databases.informix (c.d.i) newsgroup via email by subscribing to the informix-list@iiug.org mailing list. This is a bi-directional bridge between news and mail; messages sent by email show up in the c.d.i news group, and messages sent to the c.d.i news group are also relayed to subscribers by email. The service is provided by the Informix International User Group, IIUG, with the web site http://www.iiug.org. FAQ 2 - How Can I Subscribe To comp.databases.informix by Email --------------------------------------------------------------- Send email to majordomo@iiug.org with the following information in the body of the message:- subscribe informix-list This will arrange for email to be sent to your email address. You can specify the precise email address using: subscribe informix-list user@domain.tld FAQ 3 - How Can I Unsubscribe From informix-list@iiug.org --------------------------------------------------------- Send email to majordomo@iiug.org with the following information in the body of the message:- unsubscribe informix-list FAQ 4 - What else do I need to know about this? ----------------------------------------------- When you send a message to majordomo@iiug.org, you can include a signature, but make sure it follows a line that consists of two dashes. The subject line for the message does not matter. You can request more information by including the line 'help' in the body of the email, as well as or instead of the subscribe or unsubscribe message. When you subscribe to c.d.i, you should expect to receive 50-150 emails per day from the news group.
