buffer monitoring

Hello All, I was monitoring a users db the other day and refering to my trusted Informix DBA guide. I noticed the bufwait was at 950 and grew to 953 at the next check. The bufread and bufwrite were above 97% and the ovbuf was set to zero and steady. The DBA guide makes no reference to the bufwait indicator at all. Could someone shed a little light on the tbstat -p utility and some of the other indicators and what they mean.
