Ok, the problem is with the NETTYPE configuration parameter. At
this moment, It is already installed. Now edit your $ONCONFIG file
localted in $INFORMIXDIR/etc , and change the NETTYPE
configuration parameter, currently NETTYPE ,,,
The reason is the when "unset" , it is requiring many resources
from your computer, thus you are getting out of semaphores messages in your
online.log., I think this is only for OWS versions
in SCO.
Try to assign something in the NETTYPE ( ie. NETTYPE 1,20,CPU)
which means 1 poll thread, listening 20 connections, on Virtual
processor of class CPU. , and the second one you can try to assign,
a NET cpu class (ie. NETTYPE 1,20,NET), just as a test, then
run oninit -i for the very first time, if you will need more than 20
connections of course you sould increase the second parameter,
don't increase the number of poll thread, it can support up to 200
connections if my memory is still good.
