EDA SQL

Hello I have been trying to get a small deomstration working with EDA SQL via Informix and Ingres databases. Should be easily possible given what EDA is supposed to be able to do. I have not succeeded in part, I suspect, becuase the API header file and library that I have been given, as well as the example code, do not match with each other. Unfortuneately I am in Cape Town and my local supplier tells me that I can only get support if I fax him and he faxes EDA in NY, which is not very effective. I have been at this for a couple of months now and don't seem to be getting anywhere with the company that wrote the product, or the company that is selling it to me. Can anyone else help? Is anyone actually using EDA and do you have it working, please let me know. Thanks Nathan P.S. This is *NOT* a product recommendation.
