AFAIK there isn't any Linux version of Informix, but you can compile iBCS2 in your kernel, which enables you to run executables which were compiled for SCO UNIX. It works fine with Informix Online and the 4GL RDS, we are using them on our linux machine for couple of weeks now without any major flaws. We (no, actually my colleagues) had some trouble compiling a new "runner" (we are using a couple of functions written in C which make use of curses), but after a couple of days they got it up and running. iBCS2 should be available at sunsite. > > Thanks and regards, Vincent Wong > You're welcome.
