Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

from IDS 9.30.??.
I only did that back in the 90ies using
V7.12 and DRDA Gateway V6.
I searched on the IBM Web pages and found 2 connectivity
products.
If the customer wants to keep his setup 'as is'
and only wants to be able to make a few selects
via frontend contacting his IDS 9.30, do we need to
install the enterprise gateway product and setup some
alias tables and or views in IDS 9.30, which point to
the db2 database tables?
Or is there another way to archive that functionality?
Every hint/advice appreciated.
