First it isn't bad. Second if you have a problem with a support contract on a product like the Informix OnLine engines you will have problems with every product in this category. Do you expect this kind of product to be totaly bug free? You shurly can't have any operating system on your computer. You would hit bugs. Even if you hit no bug (we have no significant problems even with a version known to have several of them) do you expect everything to run so smoothly at all times that you will never need any kind of support? Access to the Tech Info Center (with the Tech Alert's) are included with standard support contracts, so it is not something additional to buy. :This is already the last project we do with Informix, so it's just for :info. Sorry to hear that. I hope you will become a happy customer of whatever product you choose. :Bye, :Patrick :--- :Patrick Preuss http://home.t-online.de/home/patrick.preuss : ppr@deckard.hb.north.de :We are all working together to one end, :some with knowledge and design, and others :without knowing what they do.
