Re: ONBAR

I have made ONBAR work with a third party backup util ADSM (Adstar Distributed Storage Mgr) I used a special publication on ONBAR itself, from Informix. I have the book at work and I could give you the title if you send me email to alan.maxwell@autozone.com re:ADSM and ONBAR. I am still in the testing stages determining how to make ONBAR do what I want it to do. The ADSM software came with an API that the ONBAR uses to communicate, and X/OPEN API. IBM (ADSM is an IBM product that runs on almost all platforms AIX, SUN, NT, NOVELL, SGI) included a README that was VERY helpful, better than what Informix had included. In your INFORMIXDIR look at sm_versions.std, it has comments that explain about some tables in sysutils database. It however said that lines in this file would be inserted into a table, they were not, but you can insert them manually.
