npused < 0 in 7.11.UC1

Dear All, I recently posted regarding the npused < 0 bug still being alive in 7.11. I have been in touch with Informix and this is not exactly true. The old bug in version 5 would caused the np_data parameter for a table in the reserved pages to go negative. Then update statistics would pick this up and make a negative npused value in systables. If you have a negative value for np_data for one of your tables then when you run the update statistics as part of the upgrade to 7.11 it will set negative values in your systables entries. What you have to do is unload/drop/create/reload any of the tables that have a negative npused value. If you do that then informix says that the value will never go negative again [i hope :) ]. I have done this on our system and so far it is working. Jason (RSWA)
