Hello, You could consider using ODBC from your C++ program instead of Object Interface for C++. This would also give you access to extended type support, type casting, insert cursors. I'll investigated this way, but I need to read some datas in dirty-read mode. Is it possible via the Informix odbc driver ? I haven't found how to.
