Make it easier to set up an HPL job. Possibably by using a simple query statement to determine what to unload. > > > Hi All, > > I am looking for new ideas and enhancements that our customers community > need in IDS HPL product. > Can you please send me your problems/features/requirements that you need in > HPL product? > > Regards, > Pravin. > --0__=08BBE4A5DFE83E4F8f9e8a93df938690918c08BBE4A5DFE83E4F > Content-type: text/html; charset=US-ASCII > Content-Disposition: inline > > <html><body> > <p>Hi All,<br> > <br> > I am looking for new ideas and enhancements that our customers community need in IDS HPL product.<br> > Can you please send me your problems/features/requirements that you need in HPL product?<br> > <br> > Regards,<br> > Pravin.</body></html> > --0__=08BBE4A5DFE83E4F8f9e8a93df938690918c08BBE4A5DFE83E4F-- > > sending to informix-list > > > sending to informix-list
Some comments inline, some at the end

Pravin: please avoid Text/html.
My and many other newsreaders simply take into account
that html is not really as good or as old as usenet
Thus, you consume unnecessary bandwith, you take risk
of getting *plonked*, and you make me and others
edit away the unneccessary crap, if we answer

At least for me onpladm is easy enuff??
onpladm create job ..... -fu
(the rest is in the documentation for V9.40 and in the command
repeat buffer of my other machine)
Still I see your point:
All the people spoiled by ipload really should have
a redbook or at least an appendix with real world
examples.
A nice thing would be examples in the context of other
tools like: how to sync 2 databases before we start
ER, using HPL -fu to network - HPL -fl from network
and other thingies like this one
(In short: read and lecturize? J. Parkers comments
into a redbook - or maybe Jack offers this to big blue?)
