Problems with I-NET 5.01

Starting up I-DBA looks normal, although it takes a few seconds longer than it did before ( using I-NET v 4.1). The DBA control panel lists my databases correctly. The problem arises when I try to open one of the databases. For the first 8-9 minutes all I can do is to watch the hourglass. Then the pointing finger shows up and the database name is displayed above the Table and Superview-buttons. Whatever I do next takes several minutes to complete. Listing the tables, editing a table, listing the Superviews etc. (While I'm writing this I try to open a table for modification. The hourglass has now shown for 10 minutes...) I have checked that there are no old DLLs messing around. The winsock.dll is newer then the one specified in the installation notes (mine is dated 10-NOV-1993 ). In the documentation notes for I-NET it says that I-NET 5.01 is compatible with I-DBA 1.0x, HSTools 1.0x etc. I assumed that I had to get more recent versions of these tools but I got information from Informix Scandinavia that 1.0 would do just fine and that there were no more recent versions until late March (1.1?) So: What went wrong?
