a question

hi! I am posting this message for an advice. I am expecting to be hired by a company who needs someone who has some experience with database application. The company is an US branch of an foreign international trading company with about 20 employees right now. The reason I am posting this message to this bulletin is that the company is using informix 4GL as its primary language for its computer works, and I am wondering if this is a good opportunity or not. (I got some other offer from other companies too.) ok. my specific questions are. 1. How is the the job perspective of an informix 4GL programmer. compared to someone who is into oracle or cybase. 2. I believe oracle runs on almost all platforms. What kind of platform does informix 4gl run on? (does it run on sco unix?). 3. How much should I expect to be paid after 'say 5 years working in this kind of environment as I mentioned above. any advice will be really appreciated. thank you. --
