ONBAR backup/restore between two servers

Hi, Could anyone comment on the feasibility (and procedure) of restoring an ONBAR backup (to a file) from one server onto another server. Both servers are running the same version of the Informix Engine v7.30.tc7 and the same operating system, Windows NT 4.0.SP4. Any advice/experiences would be appreciated. David.
